Video Wednesday: My current makeup routine

Well, this is going great! For the video this week I wanted too share with you guys how I've been doing my makeup lately, and my tricks for contour and highlighting as well as my trick for cancelling out the dark circles under my eyes (which are in my case actually the blood vessels showing though the skin, but that doesn't matter. It still looks as if I've had no sleep for a week, so away they go!) Even though I obviously need to work on putting on my makeup AND being in the shot and in focus at the same time I hope you will get some helpful tips from this video! (-: Here's the video, enjoy! Video Wednesday

HAH, so let's pretend for a split second that I'll be keeping up with a schedule that says I'll upload one video a week to youtube. ANYWAYS, this is how I currently clean my makeup brushes, I usually use babyshampoo, but as I don't actually have a baby I forgot to repurchase that when I used the last of the bottle. But any mild soap will do the trick. I did order a shampoo made specially for my brushes, so I'll let y'all know how I get on with that! (-: Have a fantastic day!

Following a make-up tutorial: How hard can it be?

As it turns out, not as hard as I feared it might be. For this I followed this tutorial by Lauren Curtis.
I didn't use ANY of the same products as her, but opted for the ones I already had at hand. I own exactly one lipstick, which is why the color is all wrong, but oh well

I don't wear a lot of make-up, and I do not know what I'm doing, which is why I decided to go with one that looked fairly simple to follow, I'm sure if I went for a full party look I would have struggled so much more. Turns out winged eyeliner is more than enough for me! (-:

Taking online classes

I'm taking online classes for college. And the most common assumption people make is that I'm lazy. They seem to think that I sleep in every day, eat a lot and spend most of my time watching TV and netflix. What these people don't understand is that I work pretty damn hard to do well,  so that I in time can get my masters degree (and hopefully a doctorate someday).

I want good grades and I want to do well. The bachelors degree I want is only in Oslo, and at this moment I can't just up and leave. I have responsibilities here. I have a house, and my boyfriend and life is here. I can't move to Oslo, and honestly, I don't want to. Here's a little something I made to show the difference between how people think life as an online student is, and how it actually is (-:

Fun fact: I did in fact waste almost a full day doing exactly what I don't want people to think I'm doing, to show them that I'm not doing those things. Think about it..
